Your consistent reminder: Carl Sagan once declared SCOOBY DOO a vital piece of popular art because it reinforced the concept of skepticism to children.

i'll second velma but with one distinctionpic.twitter.com/Y6HYzOwd3Y

Velma is always the best, come on. Even this movie is kinda worth it for the seeing the actors have fun and this is the most adorable Velma
-
Velma got a cameo in the LEGO Movie 2 so if that doesn’t confirm she’s the best...
-
I haven't seen it but it looks like an absolute riot. What's wrong with it?
-
Nothing. The film is pretty much on par with the original for about 99% of it. I was just saying I found it funny Velma was the one to get a cameo and no one else.
-
Sorry dude, read you wrong

I'll confess I'm very much a "why not both?" guy on this matter

Velma is the answer most people will stick with. The trope of nerdy girls being kinkier works to her advantage. And Daphne was always kinda basic in the original "Where Are You?" Run. She didn't get much of a personality until 13 ghosts, if we're being generous
-
She honestly didn't become interesting in general until the Zombie Island film. Also, she's pretty dope in Mystery Inc.
-
I'll agree on all of that. Also Daphne's Crush outfit in the Hex Girls on Mystery Inc was a real attention getter. pic.twitter.com/XyzNIZ67lg

Ah man, I take like total opposite stance here. Animated Velma all the way, but live action Daphne is played by Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and naturally it's not even close, :p

Velma, for sure, but I may be biased since I married someone who looks like her. And I look(ed) like Shaggy. I mean, Daphne is still a pretty solid choice
