    Would be good to have a prompt and reasoned answer from the YSK about this.

    After the election board cited irregularities as a reason to cancel the Istanbul mayoral election (which AKP lost), the CHP asks the board to also cancel the elections for district mayors and the municipal council (which AKP won)

    The CHP is applying to the YSK for the entire Istanbul elections to be cancelled. Right now it is only the Metropolitan Mayor that we be re-run. But the Metropolitan Council (is majority AKP-MHP seats) and the district mayoral elections results are accepted.
