When you take an area you can clear mines at your leisure. You don’t retreat because you happened to find mines, that’s idiotic

No the ypg did not return. If the SNA would stay in the villages there would be to many casualties. The villages hava have no ypg presence anymore. The operation will continue.

That tactically makes zero sense. No one retreats because they happen to have a few mines. Mines are meant to make an advance harder and slow deeper advances. It’s not a reason for abandoning captured positions

I see you are new :) This happened many times in El Bab and Afrin. A FSA commander announced that they left the villages because of many traps and mines at night. Even if the ypg returned to the villages they will lose it again tomorrow
