    Huda-Par has quietly opened an office in Erbil, a day after their leader met Barzani. The office is close to where HDP office located. Huda-Par's predecessor, Hizbollah, is believed to have been supported, if not actually established, by elements of the Turkish state, military.

    Leader of Turkey’s Kurdish Islamist Huda-Par (Free Cause Party), İshak Sağlam, meets with KDP’s Masoud Barzani in Erbil. Huda-Par is the successor of Kurdish Hizbollah which fought PKK in the 1990s; the party is AKP-friendly and opponent of HDP.

    It still could have been done relatively easily - give Russians a warning (to GTFO with any of their assets) a few hours before simultaniously leveling all SyAAF airbases + if necessary conduct 2nd wave of strikes against surviving assets.

    This reflects a broader trend of consolidation w/in the SAA as & Syrian MoD take advantage of the lull in fighting to (try to) seriously rebuild the army. Part of this includes the mass recruitment & integration of reconciled rebels, although trust is still a big issue.
