The reason that furry posted the video was because the voice actress said that she wouldn’t fight Fallon Fox. This is the best explainer on that one. I know it’s Joe Rogan, but because progressives are too scared to stand up for women, he’s all I’ve gothttps://youtu.be/KQpQmNhya14

A PSA to handmaidens: Look at the responses of these pathetic incels in the comments. They are celebrating violence against women b/c a woman stated she wld not fight a male. It shld give you pause these men you support are so gleeful abt such horrific conduct. *Think* ffs.
-
I also got this from a guy who IDs as a "cis" ally. He assumed I was a man who wanted to fuck Ronda Rousey because I had alerted her to become aware that a gay male gamer was mutilating Sonya Blade to *specifically target* her with his hatred. https://mobile.twitter.com/DotAtomosBlog/status/1122887659771183104 …pic.twitter.com/55nfZNH3J0

This is a common refrain from males whenever they see another male backing/supporting women. It reflects that many actually believe the reason to be nice to a woman is to have sex with her. There are *so* many things men say that reflect how flawed they are as a sex class.

Even if the gnat had tweeted "what I do to women", it is unlikely that
@Twitter would have taken it down. Sex may be a protected characteristic, but in reality women remain fair game for attacks of all varieties. Instead of "terfs" use eg "what I do to niggers". Still acceptable? -
TERFs are the oppressors regardless of their genders. I'm sorry you've managed to convince yourself otherwise and can't see why there's a growing backlash against their hatred.
-
Sexist oppression is real - female infanticide, FGM, forced pregnancy, endemic sexual assault & rape of females, unequal pay, unequal opps etc. Women who support female sex-based rights & protections are labelled "terfs" for supporting their own rights. And we're the oppressors?
-
This might be difficult to understand, but more than one injustice can be unjust at the same time. And no. TERFs are called oppressors for fighting for a hatred that has already resulted in innumerable children taking their own lives, scared of proud hostility like yours.
-
You're murderers in my eyes. Nothing more. Just a newer brand of fascists. You espouse the same brand of rhetoric that the far right and neo nazis do. You're hard to tell apart.
-
Eh?? How? Why? What on earth does fighting sexism have in common with neo nazis and the far right? What are you talking about? Can you give some examples/evidence? Why do you label opposing sexism "fascist"?
-
Women can't be oppresors of men. Besides, suicide is due to mental illness, when innofensive reality is offensive to you, reality is not the problem but you.

Portraying transgenderism as mental illness only leads to more problems. 1. It furthers stigma against transgenders, mental illness is still viewed poorly after all. 2. It brings the assumption transgenders need to be "cured." 3. Implies that something's wrong with them.
-
That's not even to mention that treatment, according to every major psychiatric organization, such as the NHS and APA, starts with affirmation of their identity. And I know that's something you have difficulty with.
-
While they might need medical/psychiatric help, that doesn't automatically make it a mental illness. It's for the same reason that no one thinks homosexuality is a mental illness, but LGB people are still more prone to things like depression and suicide.
-
Dangerous misunderstanding. It is not for the 'same reason' that LGB is not seen as a mental illness. LGB people do not suffer mental health problems/depression caused by being LGB, rather, they may develop MHPs because of societal prejudice /for any reason heterosexuals may.
-
LGB people do not require medical, psychiatric or therapeutic help to be happily LGB. For this reason it is not a pathology. Many trans people suffer mental health problems specifically caused by their dysphoria (it's the definition of dysphoria).
-
Of course, MH of trans ppl can also be -vely impacted by societal prejudice (indeed it is) & for reasons anyone else may suffer/develop illness. Surely recognising specific needs of trans ppl is route to compassionate, inclusive treatment (from professionals & society at large)?
-
Excellent points. But we still need to be aware not every trans person experiences gender dysphoria. More often than not, they tend to go hand in hand, but there's still a distinction between them.
