USA use of the word "trans" maybe different. I have very little experience with trans communities and discourse here, so sorry if I misspoke. In my work globally with trans people, "trans" is inclusive of transgender and transsexual.

Exactly. not every lesbian uses dyke and that’s fine but uh some do and that’s a word for us to reclaim just as transsexual for you and others is (tho I’ve never seen it used as a slur? Not my experience to tell of course) but still, like.. a personal use =/= a phobia to others?
