    In April 2018, Reza Shah's body was [probably] found in part of his mausoleum, which the revolutionaries vandalised after they took over. It created something of a problem for the theocracy, as does anything these days reminding people of the monarchy.

    Another old picture of Reza Shah Pahlavi. He ruled according to a secularizing program modeled on that of his great hero, Mustafa Kemal in . He banned the veil, had a short way with the clergy. Has become something of a symbol for the Iranian opposition at present.

    Sri Lankan officials have revised the death toll for the Easter attack to 253 dead - a huge drop from the casualty figure cited yesterday of 350+. It's still a devastating loss, but it means that this is by no means the largest ISIS-linked attack outside Iraq & Syria.
