WHAT: Tanned Rabbit Pelt

WHEN: March 20, 2013 - now

PROOF/EXPLAIN: On March 20th, 2013, Samm (under her side account "MilkyFoxWhiskers") on deviantart. I then (under my old username "Muffins-Weasley") commented about getting the rabbit fur if it was still available (link to deviation and comment: http://fav.me/d5yp8i8 | if it gets deleted: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hinada_zpsfcd31291.png
). I paid the $35 plus $1.60 in shipping on that same day (Proof of paypal transaction: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina1_zps603cdf18.png
). We stayed in communication for a few days, before it dropped off as I waited for my pelt (Conversation with Samm for those couple days here: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina2_zps50cc97c9.png
). About two and a half months later on June 3, I contacted her again, inquiring about the status of my pelt, and asking, if it was not sent, if she could hold onto it for me, because I was in the process of securing an apartment. She agreed to hold it, however, she was needing to gain funds to ship it. (http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina3_zpsa97117d0.png
) I heard nor sought contact with her until July (due to my own moving), and then proceeded to send her a message on my new account explaining I had move accounts and now had a stable address on July 3 (http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina4_zps5ed540c2.png
). She proceeded to send a message (to my old account that I had retired and no longer visited by then) on July 23, 2013, stating that her husband's cat had eaten the ear on the pelt, and offered a similar pelt, offering to make it mountable. (Remember: I was no longer using the account she sent this message to, and I had sent my original "I moved accounts" message to her MAIN account, so there's no reason she didn't know.) (Her offer: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina5_zps05df3579.png
) I did not seek nor hear from her until I decided to note her when she requested to be filled in on things she owed people sometime in January (journal unable to be located - Samm has deactivated her account). I sent her a message January 1, 2014. She responded, saying that my pelt was now "completely devoured," and offering another pelt, claiming "we do have a few more rabbits in the freezer skinned or frozen whole we need to tan, so if you're willing to wait a bit longer we can have that to you in a couple weeks, or if you want I can exchange it for some art for you." Knowing how long people have waited on art from her (and not having any proper references at the moment), I agreed to wait. (Here is the message chain: http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n579/MuffinsWeasley/hina6_zps26f28e07.png
) It's now been over a month, with no pelt photos posted from her, nor any contact, and she has now deactivated her main account. My total wait time has been almost a year.

I don't think Yiptrip is her, I think it's just someone with the same username.

Opps, yes. Seems like a empty account, disregard Yiptrip.

Sorry again! ; o;

I'll see if I can edit her other accounts in when I have time. I also know both she and her husband have Taxidermy.net accounts.
Plus I sent her another note recently, so I'll be updating that too.

She's still up to her ways, I've had problems with her a few years ago on a auction she held. She'll throw a lot of excuses and "pity me" stuff. She hasn't matured any.

Its unfortunate you had to deal with her, there's no use to asking paypal about it? Its a physical item that hasn't been shipped,no proof of a tracking number. Even if its been a year.

The only way would be to call them and try to get a refund that way, as paypal only lets you dispute up to 45 days from payment.
I'm a little wary about that though. Paypal's not exactly the friendliest to work with (ie. will freeze people's funds without reason) and I don't know if I want to go through the headache of trying to deal with them. (Also I don't know what I'd do if they asked for proof, like what would I show them? My lack of things?)

they're very friendly on phone, actually! I've had to call them for something myself and they got it done right away. I don't think you'd need proof, instead she would have to prove that she sent it or give you a refund. you could probably offer to give screenshots of notes where she admits to not having or or it being destroyed?

One of my friends purchased an ermine mount a long time ago that she STILL doesn't have and Samm's excuse was that "the cat got to it" and she needed to fix it. I believe she's been waiting over a year as well.

She's actually gotten in trouble on Taxidermy.net TWICE so far for not sending things. (One being "oh, I forgot to include this piece," and dishing out excuses like "I don't want to deal with holiday shipping" in early November).
Chances are, dealing with Samm, neither of us will get our products or refunds without going to paypal.

She has the habit of throwing out every excuse in the book, if it was paid over paypal I strongly suggest you call them up like Poizenkat.

Have your proof read and if it was done over Taxidermy.net, report her. It's best to do no such business with her. Seeing she hasn't made any effort to correct her mistakes.
