Much of the original population of Efrin fled the area and is blocked from returning. Instead, Arabs displaced from other areas of Syria have been brought it. According to sources I've spoken to, it doesn't seem that Kurds are still the majority in Efrin.

I heard many kurdish people are. Returning to afrin ,Syria under the rule of afrin councils and FSA Only sdf and regime sources claim they are blocked because Assad and pkk linked ypg is trying to block them and when kurdish try to return ,they get theatened by ypg
