You can't become Ezidi. You can only be Ezidi if both parents are Ezidi. That is also why they unlike other religions never spread or conquered to spread. This change is fundamental. And will lessen trauma of already so deep traumatized women

1 of the biggest tragedies for Ezidi women captured by daesh was the fact they were welcomed back but not children born out of daesh fathers. So they had to give up these children if they wanted to return. Hearbreaking for many

In a historic move, the Yazidi Supreme Spiritual Council issues a statement to welcome all survivors, including women and their children born out of rape. We now hope to retrieve hundreds of women and their children from Syria.

This pic from Countryside of a flower blooming in a mortar shell symbolizes for me the strength, resilience of Syria and the people. Despite all war, destruction, life goes on. Via Manbij Newspaper

If allows a member to commit war crimes and annex with impunity it may have out lived its moral justification. You either stand for the law or you don't. And when you don't, your existence as a free state becomes optional.

Here a former soldier speaks about the horrors they inflicted not only on PKK but to Kurds living in their villages. He was raised a fascist but got sick of all their cruelties

Don't think these are exceptions. These horrible acts are more standard procedures than exception. Parents many times can't burry their bodies cause military leaves bodies behind 4 wild animals to eat. & those that do return are so dismembered all is gone

Warning censored but 🔞most graphic.🔞 Turk soldiers not only kicking around heads of Kurds they just beheaded but also cutting off ears. An old typical fascist 'tradition' to count their kills.

Twitter changed outlook. But they also changed other things. I see tweets of people I don't follow not RTd/liked by anyone in my list and if I want to see notifications I get only 1 & must press show more every time. Most irritating

    5) It seems dealing with ISIS detainees is taking almost half of the power and resources of Kurdish forces. This would have its negative effects in terms of securing the region, development, rebuilding and makes the Kurds weaker against a possible offensive by Turkey.
