Can you please stop calling a lynching attempt polarization. It is lazy journalism and white washes a criminal act.
For polarization you need two parties pushing in opposite directions. Were Hitler or Mussolini polarizing their societies? Is calling for democracy when your opponent is vilifying you as the enemy of the people polarization? You should chose your concepts more carefully.
