Young man you need to learn the Japanese way You earn there respect
There shouldn’t be a “Japanese way” in umpiring baseball. It’s a game with a set a rules. Blows my mind this is still an issue. This is our fourth country to play in and the first time we’ve had to “earn respect” for an umpire to follow the rule book and not play bias.
In my opinion, I don’t think it’s much of a foreigner thing, but more like the ump just biased towards the offensive team in the bottom 10th cuz he wanted to go home. They tend to do that, and it’s not the first time I’ve seen it. It’s a problem either way though.

It seems like umpires have too much power on controlling a game here. What he says is always right and shouldn’t be argue with him, that kind of atmosphere is spread over the league.
This is not a Japanese way, but his ridiculous way. As a Japanese, I’m so ashamed of his umpiring. His judgement is a shame of Japanese professional baseball.
There are too many judges who torment him from last year and it is painful considering his feelings. I believe that this is a pitcher that is necessary for the Bay Stars, and I will support it next time!
