aesthetics is not always the same as “pretty” or “inoffensive”

aesthetic implies an appreciation of beauty and i fail to see the beauty in this terrible accident. my apologies if you disagree.

Anyone can find anything beautiful in any way, reguardless of how you feel about it.

There's also this thing called respect and basic compassion.

Or even just like, common sense and awareness. Unless you don’t mind getting dragged on the internet common sense would tell you saying that thought out loud wouldn’t go over well.

I agree it can be. OP's tweet history about the situation has been horribly dismissive and disrespectful of the situation. If they hadn't made repeated jokes about it and instead said something about the fire being beautiful but also sad, the situation would have been different.
