    Like if I had a nickel for every time Selvi predicted the government would take the moderate path, and then all those predictions came true, I'd still have a lot of nickels, but they wouldn't be worth that much because the value of the lira would be a lot higher.

    Interior Ministry recently made a decision to appoint 100 advisers to 71 countries. It has removed the foreign language requirements for applicants. (It may as well recruit translators too, how else does the MoI think its going to get any useful work done in foreign countries?)

    Last night, children of two pro-gov business moguls were married in an illegal annex built in an Ottoman palace. The ceremony was officiated by the former Istanbul mayor who still holds the post because his party does not accept the election results. The President was there too
