Love your symbolic acts of gratitude to the One, Mohammed Salah. We need a song dedicated to these beautiful moments of prostration. Sajda Sajda from 'My name is Khan and I am no a terrorist' qualifies but a song with English lyrics might be even better.

This video is so moving. People around New Zealand have been performing the Haka, a Māori ceremonial dance, to pay tribute, celebrate and honor the victims of the Terrorist Attacks at the Christchurch Mosques last week.

I’m not ashamed to admit I wept at this scene tonight — Christchurch locals forming a human chain behind Muslims as they perform maghrib prayers in front of the Al Noor mosque, where so many died. It was utterly beautiful

A tweet by stating that a church in Pakistan has been burned down in revenge for the Christchurch attacks, together with a video, is going viral. No such event occurred. It's been up for 2 days and hundreds of people have pointed out the video is from Egypt in 2013

The first of 50 burials was held in New Zealand today, a father and son. You could see from the mourners that grief has no religion and sorrow doesn't discriminate, their pain is relentless.

Can you not tell the difference between ‘blaming a billion Muslims’ vs blaming media coverage, far right movements’ takes on Islam, organised Islamophobia? If you genuinely can’t tell the difference , I am happy to help. If you do but still tweet this, you are a sad man.

When was that controversy Rasha? And what is ‘Muslim public discourse’? There’s never be been a debate among credible Muslim scholars about ‘allowing suicide bombing among non-Muslims’ only case is Qaradawi’s infamous fatwah on Israel. But he too, has changed his mind.

    18. For now, we can add a positive contribution to fighting fake news, hate and Islamophobia by not getting distracted, not jumping on bandwagon of trending topics, and also by talking about what they don't want to hear: Far right terrorism threatening the West and the world.

    17. I don't know if there's an adage for this but the far right and Islamophobia industry's leading law is 'People only remember what you tell them 1 minute after the breaking news' Islamophobia industry is well-funded & organised. It isn't easy to fight liars if lies pay bills
