I'm enjoying the replies to this so much. Literally no one got my point.

genuinely trying to understand what you gained from this? your tweets have long indicated your sucking up to the West, but this one is too ridiculous and too offensive for wordspic.twitter.com/GTFMRtWvsh
-
I'm really not apologizing if you are not intelligent to get the message behind this tweet. What I gained? I angered a legion of diaspora born Iraqis who don't anything about Iraq- past or present .
-
your ability to patronise is incredible. do you think diaspora-born iraqis don’t have any clue about WHY they ended up in the diaspora? do you think the killings of family members pre- and post-saddam have gotten lost on me? get a grip

Perhaps you were lucky enough not to be forced into Abu Ghraib. But the fathers and sons who were sexually abused and publicly humiliated now have people like you celebrating the monsters behind some of their worst experiences. Be mindful of who you support and who you harm.
-
Just saw this one. I wonder if you feel equally sympathetic to families of the thousands of young men killed or forcefully disappeared by Khazali's militias.

I disagree. These are criminals and Iraq doesn’t equal Iraq. The innocent lives that were lost because of their greed are not Saddam. This is just disrespectful!

Those cheering today owe this lot many thanks.

Grateful to war criminals for over a million dead? We should never be grateful for war. There were other ways for him to be removed and this was not one of them. Disrespectful to the victims
-
You didn't the tweet. Actually very few did.
-
You mean only those that agreed with you? Right

Thank you for further destabilising a once beautiful nation with your hell bent desire on propagating a neo-liberal project within the ME. And to the person who posted this; shame on you.

It’s all on the niyyah :) if only their intentions were right at the beginning then things would have truly turned out much better for Iraq.

Not my point Sana.

As a fellow Iraqi, I’m disappointed and disgusted with your post. You honestly should be ashamed of yourself for posting this. A huge slap on the face for Iraqis.

Do you not expect a reaction with those assholes? What context are you saying that your grateful?
-
Agolak don’t waste your breathe with her. She’s not worth it.
-
I don't think this is the right approach. Best to understand the context. Maybe I made an error of judgement? الله غالب
