Today‘s update: • No further LNA advances; • Both sides bringing more forces and heavy weapons into the theatre. This will get much worse; • LNA now throwing pretty much all it has towards Tripoli - it‘s now or never; • There’s no way Haftar will win.

Haftar always insisted, publicly & to Western diplomats, his forces would enter Tripoli without a fight. Now, it’s clear Haftar was and is willing to destroy Tripoli - destroy it, the way Benghazi and Darna look today - to rule Libya. For Haftar, there is no political solution.
