AZ probation forced @Tailpoof / Sisk into regular conversion therapy under threat of jail time if she didn't comply. This made her suicidal. Probation responded by assigning her to temporary intensive probation to make sure she didn't "take the easy way out". #SaveOurSisk
Therapy tormented her for being trans w/ her therapist implying being trans was a disorder that could enable sex offenses. Her therapist made her describe the rape she received in jail in gruesome detail in front of group and then mocked her for it. #SaveOurSisk
Her therapist wouldn't let her complete therapy until Sisk showed signs of being her birth-assigned gender. Ultimately, Sisk was ejected from therapy for "noncompliance" when she wouldn't reject her gender identity and stop talking to her support network. #SaveOurSisk
Plus, mention news stations… a shit-ton of them. Enough public attention and outcry can also change this situation. Instead of you alone with a select group of individuals, you now have the potential of millions of people behind your back! @abc13houston @KHOU @KPRC2
I don't have a problem with this, but it's been difficult to get anyone's attention on any of this. Though if you're going to try, I would suggest approaching them individually in DM or by tailored tweet.
