I said, publicly, that I'd change my behavior out of respect for my (now former) friends. And I have. The accusation that I don't actually care about the human impact of the US' actions abroad is a baseless and shameful smear. It is the political issue I care the most about.
Of all the things to be dogpiled on Twitter for, I can't believe it's this. I made a mistake, but that doesn't justify this hateful narrative about me. Thank you to the people who disagreed with me respectfully and helped me learn and grow. I appreciate your patience.

It wasn't the fact that you 'made a mistake' it was the fact that people called you on that mistake and you doubled down on it. This is a disingenuous narrative you're painting and I'm Tired.
This just isn't true. I said I'd change my behavior, I was just explaining my reasoning for my initial behavior. What's disingenuous are the lies people are spreading about me.
So it isn't true that you retweeted a video of some horrible shit without a CW, then doubled down when people asked you to fucking stop that shit, because what the fuck, dude, and you told them to basically suck it up and watch because 'they had to see it?'

Being 'disturbed' and triggering someone's PTSD or panic disorder is absolutely not the same goddamn thing.

Do you understand why people said you were clout-chasing with it or do you need that spelled out for you?
People assumed that narrative because you presented yourself as being indifferent to others' potential suffering. I just hope that you're actually taking this seriously and that you won't make the same mistakes in the future.
