A Vietnamese youth is making biodegradable straws with grass that grows wild in the Mekong Delta.

This seems great and harmless at a small scale, but how are the wild populations of this grass doing? Does harvesting kill the plant, and how would this industry affect the survival of this grass (and the health of the places where it grows) if it got more popular and ...
