    The US and UN used the phrase countless times re: Assad/Syria as if repeating the empty phrase time after time may make their wish magically come true. Then Assad created a military solution with help of Iran & Russia - and hesitance of global powers to intervene.

    Before the US designated the IRGC pursuant to Executive Order 13224 for terrorism, IRGC commanders made several threats. A top commander said US would have to empty its bases. The IRGC did not retaliate. Unlikely it would do so after this.

    This is scary. It is so naive to downplay the danger of Houthis mass indoctrination of Yemenis. And no they are no freedom fighters, not aggrieved minority. None of this. They r a racist, violent extremist group driven by ideology more than anything.
