I’ve seen them do better than this. They are clearly capable of collecting info on people who are actually harmful, and getting it out there. But every time they put up unsubstantiated garbage, they lose that much more of their credibility

And most people are afraid to challenge such posts, out of not wanting to be involved in furry hell. I really appreciate Junius actually speaking up on this; I know a lot of people, myself included, who settled with just blocking/muting these accounts.

Yep. It's one of those cases, where you have to get a firm first step to immediately stop any further bullshitting, otherwise you can very easily get swarmed over; and that is a fuck to deal with

The only reason I have recently unblocked those accounts is that I now feel they're dangerous enough to warrant me being able to receive an earlier warning on what they're up to.
