It's scary when a mob is brewed up maliciously, they get swept away thoughtlessly, and social media is designed to do that as business. It's content agnostic and outrage gets traffic and Twitter wins. This is why I disengaged from "callout" in favor of creative and media stories.
This covers several months of harassment all brewed up by a small circle of clout-chasing harassers from a k/iwifarms affiliated Discord group dedicated to indiscriminately targeting anyone they could gain advantage from. And the mob who followed their lying.
Unfortunately when people have no thought, no strategy, fail to account for huge gaps in their methods, and turn on each other in an instant and devour their own support, important things become useless and instead you have to say, be careful who you take sides with.
The fact that people viciously do this for months after disengagement shows how frivolous callouts can be. I poured huge work into linking and sourcing that kind of story, but the entire reason for that is undermined and ruined by the thoughtless kind.
I've been writing for years for love with no recognition and it cost 100x more than it gained. This is a hobby, not a service people are entitled to abuse. I'd beg to appease and reward abuse if it was about money or followers. When you see accusations like that, those are liars.
If a person lies about you to attack you, and you disengage from them and say nothing about them, and they attack you again for withdrawing, even months after the fact, that's harassment. If they get others to join in to push grudges, trust none of them.

Yeah I'm honestly pissed off at this point. I doubt they even read the one article you hosted that caused a huge ruckus.
They didn't read it, and the proof is how many of them attacked me for out of context snips of words said by someone else - the article was written by a guest and they didn't even read that in the title. Very quick of them to notice it was published 8 months previous too.
Yep... When the drama started I went back and read it. And I mean to ME it didn't even seem unreasonable - but clearly the distortion of facts and anger over something that didn't even happen is going to win with these people

This person is lying to you. When they say "do the math" they are refusing to give you proof because there is none. For example, they're lying that I'm "friends" with someone I appeared in a photo with 5 years ago... because i take fursuit photos with anyone who asks.
