I just wanted to thank you for the experience of SADO that I had through yourorganization.
I am still so impressed by the choreography and dramaturgy of allthe ingredients that formed the experience, from the arrangement of the flowers,the position of the pot, the colours of the sweets to the succession of all thesteps of the ceremony.
But mostly I am still in awe with the beauty and thepreciseness of the movements of the lady master of ceremony and her kindness and willingness to share the moment with a foreigner like me.
Watching her I could really feel the moment as tangible as the sweet I ate.
An absolute rareexperience in these busy days.

We were thrilled with our cookery experience in Tokyo during our wonderful holiday in Japan.
We were taught to make a traditional Japanese meal, including starters, Japanese omelette, and tempura.
The chef and his wife were incredibly kind and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome.
It was a pleasure to experience traditional cooking in a classic setting, and we will definitely be using our new skills when back home!”

Calligraphy Testimonial: It was a great session with a professional teacher who not only taught us the basics of Japanese calligraphy, but also the background history and development of calligraphy to its current form.
This is a must-do activity for any foreigner visiting or living in Tokyo.
I will definitely take more lessons when I visit again! 

Wadaiko Testimonial: The Wadaiko lesson was the last activity we did during our tour of Japan, and both my husband and I found it a perfect fun ending to our trip!

We both had no prior experience in playing the drums, and the instructor (who had over 30yrs of experience) was brilliant. 
Within an hour, he was able to take us from not knowing how to properly hit the drum, to being able to complete an entire song!

’‘The tea ceremony has been one of the most fascinating experiences of my trip in Japan. The house where we joined tea ceremony was in Yanaka, a really suggestive place to visit in Tokyo Old town! We entered in a typical Japanese tea room with tatami flooring, ikebana and two kind Japanese old ladies who taught us all the rules of tea tradition. A really good interpreter translated every word and meaning to us.

We tasted tea, sweets but above all we tasted the great hospitality and kindness of Japanese people. Looking forward to come back soon!’’

I thought the courses were very reasonably priced, and was happy that I was able to book even though I was just one person. Also appreciated the flexibility in timing and dates. For me, these are both selling points of the classes, very useful for visitors that may not have that much leeway in their dates/timings when in Tokyo and are not travelling with a big group.

All the teachers were really lovely!
