I keep getting the question: why still refraining from commenting on Turkey’s local elections? Well, if you are paying attention, even Turkey’s ruler-supreme Erdogan, known for his energy to pull off 8 rallies & a midnight TV appearance in 1 day, has been silent so far.

This isn't a first for him; he tends to go quiet for a few days when things aren't going his way. He was absent after the June 2015 elections as well, for example. I suspect he waits for things to calm dawn, so that he can take back the control of the narrative.
