Honestly, I think a big part of it is that the furry fandom is starting to become a little more "accepted" in mainstream media and they want to save face by "purging" anything that might damage PR It's the "Burned Furs" incident all over again. History is just repeating itself
Does anyone even know what exactly sparked this sudden witch hunt in the first place? I dont exactly keep up to date anymore. A few years ago, everyone just sort of kept to themselves and were happy. The furry fandom has just become a pyramid of hate now
