    He knew Mohammed Emmwazi, “Jihadi John”, and “Beatles” suspect Alexanda Kotey. He would say hi to them in the street but claims he was too afraid of western drone strikes to hang out with other foreign fighters. “We didn’t know who was on the target list”.

    He was once an army cadet, and a police cadet in Kensington and Chelsea where he says he paraded for the Queen. Like others he continues to cite western airstrikes in defence of IS. Though he now calls the group “a Big Mafia” which hoarded food while children starved in Baghouz

    UPDATE: according to family sources in the UK he has been stripped of his British citizenship. He gave his UK passport to IS when he crossed from Turkey in March 2014 and never saw it again.

    This ain’t over by a long stretch. Men are still fighting and dying in battles against IS.

    1 SDF fighter was martyred by ISIS VBIED attack in Deir al-Zour yesterday. ISIS still has a strong presence among society in the area and this can only be countered by an effective military cooperation between the SDF and global .
