Today I want to talk about three things that are all equally important to me. This thread is about who Kabier, who Kaitlyn, used to be when she was younger. Because I can write in equal measure about her being horrible in modern times and being wonderful in the past.
8 to 9 years ago, Kaitlyn, Kabier, was a big-time Justin Bieber fan. She went by Brengie back then. The was deeply into The Lion King, and into TLK role-playing. On top of that, she was an amazing artist already, working with limited tools and equipment. Kaitlyn was always
going to make it big as an artist. She made friends so deep, inspired friendships so strong, that even now years after she abandoned old accounts, or closed them, I can still find traces of those old friends reaching out where they knew her. Her old DA accout, Kusike,
still has friends wishing her happy birthday. People who loved who she used to be. Kaithlyn inspired at least a few people to join FurAffinity and the wider furry community, when she was younger. They joined to support her and continued to support her through the years.
People like miss Twitterlu, but quite a few others as well, knew her as this kind and genuine young female who was giving and gentle to the people she knew. Some of them also knew Kaitlyn's troubled home-life. They knew her family was terrible and abusive, to each other and to
her. When Kaitlyn claims to have been abused, she is not lying. Verbal abuse was the least of it for her. Kaitlyn's grandmother was awful. Her mother was awful. Her father was a doormat to her mother's abuse, not so much an abuser himself. This is the world she was hiding from
by making her friendships online. Make no mistake, I think online friendships can be wonderful, I think they are wonderful, but for young Kaitlyn it was as much about trying to escape as it was about anything else. It was these online friendships where Kaitlyn first found love...
What she thought was love, at least. She found "Aaron", she found Soren, a young german boy just a year older than her. 16 to her 15, perhaps younger still if they had known each other for some time. Soren was not a good long-distance boyfriend. Not by a long shot.
See, Soren used young Kaitlyn for free art. He used her and played with her emotions. This young girl who already had such a shitty home-life was played, because he could. Kaitlyn claims he even faked plane tickets to pretend he was going to visit, once. I said she claims it
because Soren claims that did not happen. But Soren does admit to using her for art. After Soren broke Kaitlyn's heart she fell into a series of quick, short, bad relationships. It is in this period where she met SecreT, Nirfirvious, and Dionysis.
I do not know just how much she was involved with these three but the rumor I was told is that following her experiences with Soren she pretty much decided to get back at the world by playing with men herself. I can not say if they knew she was under 16, let alone 18, at the time
I can say that rumors swirl about the predilections of them, but to me those are rumors and nothing more. It is shortly after this period, of trying to be the playgirl, when Kaitlyn and Jason became friends. It started with someone telling Jason that Kaitlyn had purged her FA.
To his credit, he seemed genuinely alarmed and worried about her doing this. He thought she was a very nice girl, as she really was back then, and he reached out to her. It was a fast friendship for Kaitlyn, still so ready to love. To be wanted. It was not healthy.
She first drew a piece depicting her Fursona, Brengie, with Jason's, Vergence. Shortly after, Kaitlyn had a new, scalier, fursona in the form of Xel. One she designed. And shortly after that, it was Genesis, the raptor Jason "helped design". Kaitlyn was quickly brought under his
reign and turned into an tool. She drew what he told her to draw, She made comics under his guidance. She made characters under her guidance. He controlled her. It took years for her to wrestle some individually back, to make Mitsu, and in those years Jason moved to Canada.
That is Kaitlyn's past. Now an aside for Jason, because this was not the first time Jason had crossed the world to be with a woman. His previous girlfriend, Tawnie. Tawnie was in a bad relationship with a boyfriend. Jason crossed the world by plan to meet her and bring her
to Australia. They moved in together and at first, just at first, things were fine. Things were strong. Contrary to the view that grooming a young Kaitlyn was the only way Jason could have gotten laid, he actually had a brief relationship with someone years before her.
This relationship ended without fanfare and Jason never talks about it now. There is not much to say on it other than that Jason is used to going across the world to find women. Perhaps because those who know him in life could not stand him? I do not know.
To clarify, Kabier is Kaitlyn? Wording of "...who Kabier, who Kaitlyn," confused me.
Yes. I felt if I was going to talk about her past it was best to refer to her as a real person rather than a public identity.
Ah okay. Thanks for the clarification! The situation would explain why she acts the way she does sometimes or maybe it's just other things, but I'm not an expert of course.
