Pretty naive (& possibly comfortable!) to assume that Turkey's anti-Western (& particularly anti-U.S.) sentiments are merely based on military cooperation between the U.S. and Syrian Kurds. I'd focus also on internal dynamics in TR to better understand its anti-U.S. orientation.
