On another note, one of the little girls in that picture was my first-grade teacher, Sarah Ludwig.

I tend to be a huge fan of Jewdas, though I'm not loving this tweet. Conversations around the Holocaust, including criticism of how it may be politicized, are best conducted without snark. I use the Ludwig to teach students about the important of putting names to the pics.

I mean, I get it. I love Eli Valley's work and this isn't a huge departure from that. I share Jewdas's frustration with how some major Jewish institutions define and police antisemitism, especially when it intersects with politics... Just rethinking my initial reaction a bit.
