Screenshotting is a legit accountability measure when it's used to preserve the public record and reveal truths that would otherwise be concealed. Not when it's used to distort and de-contextualize for Twitter likes.

Ah, I see “preserve the public record.” I must’ve missed your screenshotted tweets or criticisms of David Sirota and Glenn Greenwald, who recently deleted tens of thousands of their own tweets, as David did. Or is this another one of those purely subjective principles of yours?

Honestly, I’m still sensing some daylight between the moral calculus and journalistic outrage you demonstrate with this dismissive “there you go” criticism toward GG versus the Eureka-like “The scrubbing begins!” tone you took to clearly try to shame David.

Even if it had been proven, to call it the Crime of the Century is absurd hyperbole and trivializes so many truly awful things happening around the world.
