One of the defining attributes of GOD is Omnipotence. That means everywhere at the same time. So, God is NOT disconnected from the universe but He is the force that holds the universe together. Your view is gnostic.

Satan doesn’t just know humans, he knows God. He knows God better than anyone but God. Satan was God’s second-in-command, commander of all of the angels, second in glory only to God Himself. If God wiped out Satan immediately, the only way to have humans live in harmony would be to replace the ones that sinned, which would be all of them. This would be a negation of his promise to them in Eden, and make free will not a thing in choosing to love Him.
Additionally, Satan was challenging God's righteousness not just before humanity, but before all the multitudes of angels before God. By giving Satan his chance to prove whether he could rule humanity better than God, he's showing the entire universe the proof that Satan is wrong. Thus, once he finally does away with Satan and retakes the earth for his faithful worshipers, it'll be with complete vindication and justice.

Another consideration is that Satan knows about God and the bible probably better than most humans. He is a master of deception. We truly need to put on the full armor of God. Tipler's highly idiosyncratic interpretation isn't "within standard physics" and logically even an omega point doesn't necessitate a God (as any quantum gravity theorist will tell you, general simulism is entirely plausible). Lastly, using something like Orch-OR to think of consciousness and its relation to an omega point doesn't necessarily lead to "God" (let alone specific Christian notions) in any meaningful way. For example, multiple, entirely naturalistic universal-wave functions are possible (given multiple local universes).
