I know this review has been done countless times before. But hear me out. CDNIM is a perfectly blended and balanced clone of the smokier batches of Aventus. For the first 30 minutes, it smells young and fruity, and then morphs into a more mature, smoky smell when the birch kicks in. In the extreme dry down(After about 8 hours), it gets a tiny(almost unnoticeable) hint of patchouli for about an hour before it fades away. Warning : Do not smell CDNIM up close on paper or skin and judge its smell because it's very lemony like a cleaning product. This makes it a bad "Netflix and Chill" fragrance because you do not want someone smelling it up close. The sillage and the trace you'll leave behind will be pure pineapple and birch. Therefore, it's perfect for any activity that doesn't involve someone smelling you directly off your skin. It is very intoxicating and makes you feel confident. If you're able to find the deodorant version, grab that stuff before it's too late because it's 1/5th of the price and lasts exactly as long as the cologne(About 8 hours with 6 hours of sillage). I know some of us buy fragrances solely based on compliments that they pull. So for y'all, here's a story.

I found a CDNIM deodorant and I've been wearing it to college for almost 6 months. The second day that I wore it, this girl in my Chemistry class who I've only spoken to once or twice in the last 3 years walked past me and went "you smell so good" casually. An hour later, she walked past me again in the lab and fanned the air around me into her face and smiled nonchalantly. At around 5pm, I was in the lab packing up my stuff getting ready to leave and she runs up to me and says "I just want to smell it once before you leave". This was maybe 9-10 hours after I had sprayed it so it was pretty much gone. I told her I'd spray it again tomorrow. She asked me what it was, I told her it was some cheap deodorant that I bought in a drug store(because I don't want it becoming popular in my college lol). She asked me where I put it on, I just awkwardly motioned to my underarms and she dug her nose in there for a quick second and apologized for being a creep and ran away. I kinda stepped back because like I said, it smells lemony and cloying up so close. So, this pretty much made me decide to make CDNIM my signature.

Side note : If you like fruitier batches of Aventus, get Afnan supremacy silver. It's pretty much CDNIM with the birch and pineapple in reversed proportions. Unlike CDNIM, this is perfect for cuddle sessions and up close sniffing!
