    Judging by the aftermath of the Quebec City Mosque massacre I don’t think people should expect less anti-Muslim sentiment now. The outcome of that was a brief lull followed by actually increased hatred and aggression from local politicians and media.

    Indeed. I’ve been floored by seeing all the “what else did you expect” and “someone finally had enough” comments. More numerous and not just in fringe forums anymore.

    One of the worst aspects of this is that the attacks in mosques are always carried out when Muslims are praying. For all the bravado and heroism of a man out to save his supposedly dying race, he can't bring himself to have a fair fight but shoots Muslims in the back.
