I’m allowed to find it creepy you refused to continue speaking publicly, for no clear reason, and tried to persuade me to hand overcontact details. I didn’t think you wanted to physically harm me or similar, but I felt uneasy b/c there was no obvious reason for wanting privacy

Fwiw this was it: he posted the first tweet here, I asked him if he was saying I wasn’t committed to democracy. He replied in riddles and tried to get me to email him privately, I didn’t understand why he couldn’t explain publicly. The other 2 screenshots are from afterwardspic.twitter.com/6mTRTXll5s

IIRC the tweet that either is or isn’t accusing me of not being a democrat was in response to me calling out Danny Finkeltein’s several year involvement with the virulently racist Gatestone Insititute

Idk, I seem to end up getting threatened a lot when I talk about certain things. And I know these sorts of explanations are boring and/or baffling for most of my followers, but it feels necessary to me when I am being misrepresented

Going to take a wild guess here and suggest this creep isn’t actually a QC.
-
I have no idea, but this is a creepy as fuck way to act regardless

Sometimes I think that certain oddballs on here just like to distract us from more useful pursuits, when we let them, they win. I don't argue with knobbers unless the argument is going somewhere, I used to but those days are over

This single tweet is so fuckin boring I’m unfollowing you. It undoubtedly represents the latest in a long string of boring tweets. Nor do I think it’s the last. Reply, and I’m blocking you. Goodbye.

I'm sure she'll be gutted

Well, she just have to swallow it. She’s been very self-absorbed and tedious lately. She’s no great loss to me.
-
I just block/mute & leave, I don't feel the need to announce what I'm doing to the Twittersphere, because I consider such, a declaration of an ego larger than the calibre of an individual but hey ho, horses for courses
-
Abi spends a good chunk of her time on twitter announcing what she’s doing with regard to twitter. Leaving, coming back, going on hiatus.
-
That's up to her isn't it? I honestly don't follow anyone closely enough to know that much about there comings & goings, there's a big world out there with much to see & do
-
I prefer meaningless twitter fights.

Good for you

Absolutely spot on. We're all grown ups here. If he can't share it with the rest of us, it's not worth saying.

Watching the idiocy of many of the QCs on Twitter makes me question the meritocratic nature of Britain. (Obviously it doesn't. Britain isn't meritocratic)

One of the only benefits of Twitter as far as I can tell is for working who not to employ as your legal counsel should you ever go to court. This guy's apparently a QC but his tweets are incoherent and he gets rude very quickly. Amazed anyone employs him.
