Some key takeaways from the interview > Turkey needs to resume peace talks with PKK & Ocalan > Turkey should not intervene militarily in NE Syria > By same token PKK should refrain from provoking Turkey > YPG PYD would be better served seeking Russian brokered talks with regime

As noted in my question, more than a few YPG PYD leaders I spoke to agreed that it was more realistic at this stage to seek deal with regime, provided its fair. More on this in coming pieces.
