(1) Italy is not a poor country. But in the past Italians could rely on extended families and/or mothers staying at home and the state didn't invest in early childhood care. Now either Italian women want to work and have careers or have to to have a good standard of living...
-
(2) and the government hasn't caught up and there is little support for young families as it occurred in northern Europe. So mothers have kids later when they have established themselves at work and financially.
-
I believe the same applies to Greece. Young women must have jobs/careers, “housewife” is not an alternative with a 30% divorce rate. They can’t rely anymore on “granny support” because granny is also working or lives elsewhere, child care is expensive or non-existent.

countries that where "invaded" by imf and bank cartels creating these economic crisis are responsible... it is not a coincedence as we see that the so called "PIGS" (portugal, italy, ireland, greece, spain) countries are not able to raise children decently anymore

But isn’t this “all births” (keep having children longer), rather than “first births” (start having children later)?

I was enjoying the little glitches! (I work in academic publishing. Getting hold of print-ready maps is one of the more entertaining aspects of my job.)
