One time i publish something related to the Kurds and the Turks, and now i am having an all-out war of extreme photos, porn and beheaded soldiers in my posts and DMs. This was the last time i posted anything related to these two nations.

Media informs about two soldiers and 1 IS militant killed in clashes. Significant, that IS slowly recovers in Marawi area, besides two years long hunt for the last surviving IS emir in the North, Abu Dar. One of the candidates for IS wali of East Asia.https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/news/03/12/19/residents-flee-as-troops-maute-terrorists-clash-in-lanao-del-sur …

Islamic State claims responsibility for the battle that occured yesterday in Barangay Padas, Lanao Del Sur, saying that over 20 Filipino soldiers were killed/wounded in the aftermath. This is the second Islamic State's claim from Abu Dar's area of operation.

Ever wonder about roots of modern
#jihad and current situation in#Afghanistan? Here's the earliest documentary about#Afghan#mujahideen and probably first ever footage of Gulbuddin#Hekmatyar. Turkish diaspora in Wrocław is one of the biggest in Poland, i have a lot of friends among them, including the ones working in "Galeria Dominikanska" where i am often present. Sad day.

Extreme case in Poland and i think first of the kind. A Kurd affiliated with PKK murdered a Turkish student in Wrocław, stabbing him multiple times in one of the most popular shopping malls in my city.http://wroclaw.wyborcza.pl/wroclaw/7,35771,24539118,tureckiego-studenta-zamordowal-we-wroclawiu-kurd-z-terrorystycznej.html?fbclid=IwAR0BrYXsqN2BzOoDGoiPTdFt5ooXAXNR0TyLshDFasKCi6hnbw1FMPN0KNA#S.srodkowaNajwieksza-K.C-P.-B.5-L.1.maly …

We are yet to see, how far IS goes with the influence and forced MO changes. Suicide bombings prior to IS 2016 unification were non-existent, also the use of foreigners was rare. If the changes continue, we will be able to say, that IS transformation effort has been successful.

And that is why the danger is not THAT great as might sound from the articles. However, the successful unification of jihadists in the Philippines, that seems to be coherent after Marawi, might lead to an INCREASE in danger and potential changes in the jihadi landscape.

However what i meant in my first post a few days ago is, we have to be cautious when it comes to determining the power of the Islamic State in the Philippines. Simply taking manpower, it hasn't really changed from ASG times.

I am using my beautiful paint work from last year (with a small change being Rasilon replaced to Sawadjaan). This is how IS looks like and the main operational areas. Abu Dar in the North, Abu Turayfie in the East, Baco and Sawadjaan to the South and Indama on Basilan.pic.twitter.com/ti1UA9nnlf

I totally agree with the NYT article when it comes to Filipino gov/army lies, which usually blame ASG and deny that IShas any responsibility for the attacks. Don't let them fool you - ASG as we knew it no longer exists. Islamic State EA (wilayat) successfully united most of them.

what is different now, is the change in Modus Operandi and a much active use of regionals/foreigners in operational capacity. The SVBIED bombing of Lamitan (by Moroccan) and the suicide bombing of Jolo Roman Catholic Cathedral by Indonesian couple are the best examples.

Tables turn a bit, if we take into consideration what has been happening AFTER Marawi. And while i don't really think, that the level of foreign fighters (Yeah, these from Africa, Eu or beyond SEA) is much higher to 2014-2017....

In the case of Marawi the influx of regionals was superior to the ones usual articles depict. Like, there were literally 13 fighters that would meet "pure foreign fighter standard". But by adding ME, EU or Africa countries to headlines, it sounds much worse than it is in reality.

"Hundreds of fighters poured in from as far away as Chechnya, Somalia and Yemen, intelligence officials said." This quote is catchy, but say what. It would sound much different, if you knew, that these hundreds of fighters were regionals right? I mean, Indonesia, Malaysia etc.

Okay, so, as always i am starting with the "foreign fighter dilemma". As usual, western media articles like to exagerrate the influence or influx of foreign fighters, especially connecting the with the Middle East or Europe.
