Yet another Western visitor sees what she wants to see in #Syria. Drinks the Koolaid. Shades of Tom Friedman.https://thehill.com/opinion/international/433177-the-future-and-present-of-northeast-syria-is-female …
no,there was an FSA rule over Deir Ez Zor,by the locals since beginning of 2012 up until ISIS expelled them in 2014,Nusra wasn't controlling all of Deir Ez Zor,they were present in their bases and had limited influence,FSA at least was from the locals,no foreigners like PYD

Mate your so called revolutionaries were Turkish pawns&didnt want to accept Kurdish existence in Syria. I was monitoring so called "rebels or revolutionaries" and Kurds offered them to work together but they preferred Turkey over Kurds, now deal with your defeat in Syria.
-
Lol,Locals of Deir Ez Zor are far from Turkey, plus PYD wants to coopt all groups, the PYD will rule Deir Ez Zor for sometime, but don't be surprised when the locals in both regime and PYD areas uprise against both
-
Kurds are not interested to govern Deirezzor or Raqqa, there are local administrations and Arabs already rule where they live, your claims are baseless. You are claiming as Turks do for Manbij. Local people form councils & governing their cities according to demographics.
-
PYD has a Kurdish Hierarchy, stop it with hiding the truth, the FSA has a more urgent right to have Raqqa and Deir Ez Zor back,SDF is attempting to ocalanize and kurdify the area, like teaching Kurdish to Deiri Children,an uprising will occur both regime and PYD areas in 20 years
-
But no problem if deiri children learn teaching in Turkish right? So if pyd really want to kurdify areas they can simply bring pkk loyalists from refugees camp of makhmur and other areas that will be more effective than teaching
-
Nobody wants anybody to lose their identity, whether it be the Arabs or the Kurds,no Kurd would want to lose their identity, equally no Arab wants to lose their identity

We are At 2019 and u talk about 2012, where are this guys that u talking about?
-
That's so true.
@VivaRevolt always argues with "In 2011, 2012..." It's now 2019 and the reality is something entirely different. Why are you sticking to pipe dreams?https://twitter.com/hevalbronze1/status/1105201395035197440 … -
From 2012 to 2014 then the so called moderate opposition was in charge in Manbij, women (50% of the population) was excluded from participating in politics, same with several minority parties
-
The opposition has a terrible track record when it comes to women’s participation.
-
but there was elected local councils,in Manbij and Jarablus in the time period of FSA rule, women were allowed to vote
-
Women and pyd was excluded from the council, that's a 100% fact!
