@schwab.jennifer A variety of friends from around the world descended upon DTLA to honor the generosity, kindness and humility of Susan Rockefeller @susanrockefeller on her milestone birthday. It was an evening of fun, fellowship, and friendship. Django Reinhardt tribute band, @hotclubofla fronted by Grammy winning, Jazz composer, Ken Oler played gypsy jazz from the 30s. My favorite room in the always gorgeous California Club was resplendent with beautifully restored and maintained 30-40s interiors. Huge fireplaces warmed partygoers despite the blustery weather. Festivities included a rap dedicated to Susan, written by Kelly Hallman and attempted by the three hosts, @lesliezemeckis @livepeacekelly and yours truly (somehow we got @llcoolj approval but he was clearly being polite!). @susanrockefeller, happy, happy birthday. Love you to pieces.
