Look. At the state. Of you. Unreal.

Unbelievable. Isn't. It?

Giggling that future historians may well quote this tweet from Huda

Alexa, what is the worst way a NEC member could respond to announcement of
@EHRC investigationpic.twitter.com/Ls4N04dCJ2 -
This is the same party that created it and heralded it as a new dawn
-
It might have retained the name but it isn't the same party
-
And the country should be concerned

Oh you're on the NEC! Ha, it amazes me you think you're *helping*. A Tory secret sleeper agent would have tweeted exactly this!
-
Trashing EHRC is what you'd expect the executive of an institutionally racist org to do on learning they're being investigated. This is the institutional part of institutional racism.

Saved for posterity and to be reported to
@EHRC http://archive.ph/PYEcU -
I love you! Keep doing what you're doing
-
You literally couldn't make it up.

I don't know, a party led by an antisemite and seemingly obsessed with Palestine to the exclusion of all else doesn't like Jewish people or the state of Israel seems pretty straightforward but still, the sooner they get found out the better

Please do not let anyone bully you into deleting this.

Absolutely - it's a tweet that needs to stick around for people to look at. Not convinced we're on the same page about why, though.
-
Yep this is definitely a keeper

The EHRC have repeatedly declined to pick up the Windrush issue citing lack of resources I am wondering where the resources suddenly appeared now A quid pro quo from the Tories to loosen purse strings?
-
It's chairs and commissioners were appointed by Amber Rudd ffs, how can it be independent?
-
The last five (out of total of 12) Commissioners were. And when Labour were in government a Labour Minister confirmed appointments. That is how a Labour Government set it up.
-
Which goes to show it's not independent, aren't you concerned that they haven't investigated Windrush or the UN report on poverty ? I am.
-
Firstly no it doesn't, the Minister will receive recommendations and confirms appointments. It's how the strategic bodies of quangos often work. As for what they have researched, have a gander through this load https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/our-research/list-all-our-research-reports …

I checked your timeline. Slapped myself upside the head for even responding to you in the first place.
-
Funny as I didn't bother looking at your TM because I tend to address the point being made rather than approaching it with preconceptions.
-
So do I normally, but your idea of independent differs from mine. Enjoy your evening.
