Hey, which one should I purchase? I want it to last at least 4 hours+, and it has to smell nice of course. I don't wanna be one of those weird smelling guys and I just wanna smell naisu and fresh if you know what I mean
I also forgot to mention that I also wanna impress someone with it '':D
Get Sauvage. Performs really well and it’s a crowd pleaser. It gets a lot of hate in the fragrance community Bc it’s “synthetic” and shit like that, but the stuff works and people around you will like it.
Sauvage is the one that gets my girl to move to my side of the bed after I leave for work in the morning.
La Nuit de L'Homme - warm sweet-ish smell that might remind people of a laundry smell. Maybe good for close encounter/date night stuff.
Sauvage EdT - crowd pleaser, might seem harsh at first. Go easy on trigger. Kind of fresh, but also grounded.
Versace Pour Homme - compared to Allure Homme Sport a lot, but I actually like the Versace more. Good for a dumb grab, signature scent, office wear, etc. Maybe decent longevity & good projection.
As for which I'd pick, order of preference Sauvage > Versace PH > La Nuit de L'Homme.
Dior Sauvage has a lingering feel to it that the other two lack. It takes time to start liking, but after the relatively metallic opening it settles into something nice and familiar. Lasts an entire day. Somehow Versace PH doesn't seem to last on me. I like it alright, but i wont want to buy it. LNDH smells amazing, sweet. Not a long lasting smell. I need to carry an atomizer when i wear that as it lasts barely 4 hours.
It's smells less synthetic, better sillage than LNDL, versatile enough for office and casual wear, it's an easy to wear nice fragrance over-all and budget friendly.
Pros and Cons:
Never smelled Versace, so this might be the most original one (Other people can help with this 1(
If you get La Nuit, you have to buy a bottle from eBay from 2010 or before. The current version lasts about 2 hours or less. In terms of smell, it's gorgeous.
Sauvage is so common now, but lasts 12 hours. I'm not a big fan of this, but girls do like it. Spray this maximum 2 times, or you will be sneezing all day, and want to wash it off.
I wouldn't recommend this, due to it being so common. Instead I would say Y EDP by YSL. Or Versace Dylan Blue.
La Nuit’s longevity is just fine, 3 sprays and you’ll smell it all day.
Not for me lol. I went into a shop to get it, as well. So not fake.
Mine’s 2018 from Sephora, works fine with three sprays but I think it might project very differently depending on the person.
Will it last longer if I double spray it?
no will just make you smell like that cologne guy for the first 2 hours
I usually use 3 sprays, 1 on each side of neck, and one on chest, lasts me a good 2-3 hours of good projection, and then turns to a skin scent that lasts for at least 5 - 8 more hours , I bought my bottle last year and very happy with performance, it is one of my top 5 I wear and love it
What are the differences between Versace Dylan blue and Versace the one i mentioned?
Dylan Blue is like Sauvage, but just not as common. I've never smelled the one you mentioned.
It's got good performance, yeah. I'd recommend it. La Nuit is gorgeous. I wear it for any occasion (except warm weather)
I'd even say get standard YSL L'homme over Nuit.
Overall, your best bet is to smell Dylan Blue or Y EDP and buy it in a shop.
I second Dylan Blue! I own all of the ones you’ve mentioned and I prefer it over all of them! Versace Pour Homme is more clean/fresh/floral/soapy scent while Dylan Blue is a more deep/masculine scent to my nose and even beats Bleu de Chanel in my opinion.
