I'm interested, how do you define a terrorist organization? Imho one can use terrorism as a tool to reach political and military goals, but "terrorists" & "terrorist organization" don't mean a lot.

A terrorist is any non-state action that believe that terrorism against civilians could help it achieve its goals, there for all opposition factions are terrorist organizations as they all attacked civilians on the hopes of achieving their goal.

And does it erase all the rest of them? And what about "terrorism" committed by state-actors? I believe Syria is a good example, every state involved bombed civilians.

If you believe that a pilot would go and drop a bomb on a random house, your naive, very naive ... for many reasons, first this costs money, second this don't serve the front lines and don't forget about technical limitations ... so no one bomb civilians here or else where.
