2. Shortly after the publication, editor's office received an email from press adviser of 
embassy in #Moscow that said: "I'm categorically & seriously telling you need to delete this article from your website otherwise you'll end up blacklisted & never able to enter China!.."

5. NG reportes claim this is not 1st time, Chinese diplomats threaten them over stories they find offensive though the stories are based on stats that #China officially provides / publishes on its state websites.
6. #Russia/n journalists add that folks from Chinese embassy sometimes even arrive to the editors office in person with demands to delete stories they don't like.
7. This is truly scandalous: @nezavisima publishes critical stuff of both #Russia/n domeatics and FP, including on #Syria, #Libya, Central Africa, etc but such attacks on its reporters by foreign diplomats on Rus soil are unprecedented.
