What Makes us Boycott #Tokyo2020 Olympic in Response to Ms.Yamaguchi’s Prosecution

1. “I’m sorry that I couldn’t attend the last handshake party that you were looking forward. I’m too feeling frustration about this situation that I cannot laugh joyfully nor behave as your idol as it used to be. I am also sorry for making you worry. My physical condition is okay. I have lost 4 kg in 2 weeks but it is stress. It is not anorexia nervosa. If you had such a thing, you too surely lose weight so it’s okay.”

2. “I do not want to say this. I do not want to bother people for whom I’m indebted. I do not want you to hate NGT, so I kept silent for the past month. I asked them not to disclose the fact in the news that this incident was took placed in NGT. Because this group was important for me too. And I trusted them that they will deal with everything and dispose those members and criminals.”

A hand came in when I confirmed that there was nobody in the corridor and tried to close the door as soon as I entered the room. I was broken open. I got caught my face and about to be pushed down. I tried desperately to try him out because I thought I could be killed if I lost. So I definitely could not lose, and when I thought I could drive that guy away anyhow, then another guy came out from the opposite room, the room where one of our members lived. The second man grabbed my face and tried to push me down in the same way the first man did. I tried to shout out “help!” but I was so scared that my voice didn’t came out. After trying for a minute I finally got a voice, and I shouted “Help, help!”. The man closed my mouth. I thought that I would locked in the room and killed. When the elevator sounded and the guy’s attention were took away, I got out of my room because I didn’t know what’s gonna happens if I was going to be locked in my room. So I went out that moment to corridor with them. I couldn’t run because I was too scared to stand with my legs. When I tried to call the police my phone was taken away by them.”

She also heard the testimony from that guys until the police arrived. She also cried with me hearing the names of our members in that statement. At that time there was also one of our stuff with us. I hate this situation that ones who is working seriously can’t operate securely and safely.”

10. “(Deleted)We have already informed the police. It was confirmed to be truth that some of our members were related to this incident. The guys assaulted me was already released now after once arrested that time.”

But the reason why had not being reported on this case is just because I asked them not to disclose the fact that I’m a member of NGT48. I hide that information because I don’t want to hurt a reputation of NGT48 which has many of very gentle fans, due to a very few of those exceptions. As a victim, I was also afraid that NGT48 got a negative image from this incident. I asked them to describe me just as “a self-employed 23 years old woman” about this case.

Also in order to prevent worst thing to happen in a future. Sorry, I had no choice. I wish I could go back to a month ago and could make everything as it used to be.”

2 days after these tweets, Ms. Yamaguchi apologized on a stage at the beginning of the performance for disturbing her fans by these tweets. Nothing of the details of this prosecution were touched in this statement. Since then we can no longer know her activity until now.

…So, why then we are decided to boycott next olympic #Tokyo2020 which is going to be held next year?

Yasushi Akimoto, the founder and song writer of AKB48 group which includes NGT48, is a board member of #Tokyo2020 (Official hashtag of Tokyo Olympic that is held in 2020). While this case has not been disclosed it’s details at all, and while it is suspected that under opaque contracts between the group and members many girls including Ms. Yamaguchi are still exposed to a dangerous environment, AKB48 is going to perform there show at the opening ceremony of this Olympic. And sincerely we don’t like that.

Yes, you are right about your decision that if one is not fit for a particular environment, one should quit and pass aside. But this case is a little bit complicated. It seems that the business AKB group running is deeply connected with silly desire of the particular type of a man who wants to be a big customer by purchasing many of a same CD which includes a voting paper for a member whom he likes at the popularity vote. By winning a good rank in the popularity vote, she can be famous, been appointed as an actress in TV commercial, as a cover girl of some magazines, etc. The quality itself of these songs? At least for me none of their works I ever heard were never necessary for my life…
Anyway AKB group has grown big rapidly now that one can see their faces every day everywhere. Thus, somewhat unaesthetic situation is happening in this country. Did Yamaguchi ever been standing wrong place that she shouldn’t be? Or didn’t we know where to put a candle on? Definitely it’s not under the bed where it is not the right place for the light.

Although a press conference was held out by AKS Co., Ltd. on 14th of January after Ms. Yamaguchi’s prosecution, nothing was revealed which clearify this incident except which is in discord with Yamaguchi‘s tweets. So, personally I sent a petition below to Akimoto asking for reformation of this group. Although, they didn’t answered. Here’s an original letter of the petition which I’ve sent:
