Quick meta post abt what's coming in 2019, & some stats on 2018. I'm essentially doing this so I am forced to get words down & to publish what I say I will. Reply with what you are most interested in & it might make a difference to how fast it comes! 😉

  5. Someone in decided to try to replicate the AK-103's solid folding stock with their AKM. This is the result, and it's now for sale. Note the addition of an improvised trunnion for a folding stock, just like legit Russian side-folding guns.

  6. Jaish al-Izza hit an Iranian Militia checkpoint w/ BGM-71E/D today, destroying a 9M133 Kornet & pickup. This is claimed to be retaliation for regime bombardment of North Hama. Very interesting to see that they still have TOWs, and evidently enough to use them for this purpose.

  7. Vido showing the launch of the 122mm Grad rockets by ISWA. Note they aren't using any launching system (Not even an improvised Grad-P single tube), similar to the common militant practice with 107mm rockets in the Middle East. This'll be very inaccurate.

  8. A pair of the most professional AK bullpups in Idlib I've seen so far. Two different variants too, one forgoing the FSB and having additional rails. Note the custom muzzle devices, and the craft-produced suppressor ready to attach. Lots of other details too 👀

  11. An M16A4 available for sale in . This one is complete with EOTech 512 and M203 40x46mm UGL. This former US-owned weapon has custom paint job, light, and a amusingly relocated rear sight. Not to mention the DoD UID sticker.

  12. Another newly made suicide belt from . This one again uses a grenade fuze, and as the seller has helpfully shown, it contains around 1.5kg of High Explosive.

  14. I'm really sorry for taking so long with my article on IS East Asia. Working really hard on it, and there will be so much information there which I don't believe has ever been covered in the public domain. Here's a A E S T H E T I C image to keep you going.

  16. Interesting- A 122mm Grad rocket launched by ISWA (Boko Haram) landed in Teacher’s Village, Borno State & other locations. A BM-21 was captured in Dec 18, the NAF destroyed it later. However, it seems that ISWA retained the 15 rockets seen in the launcher for improvised use.

  17. Kit of a now dead IS Foreign Fighter. His M4 is a SIG Sauer M400 with 11.5" barrel, used by ISOF in Iraq. Ex-ISOF rifles such as these are favoured by remaining foreign fighters in the Baghuz Pocket, along with Colt and Rock River Arms rifles. 📸
