Moving the resolution, the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said the attack in Pulwama is an incident Indians will never forget. “The attack was not just on our soldiers and jawans. Lip sympathy is not enough. It is our responsibility to protect the families of Veer Jawans. The entire country should remember their sacrifices.”

Joining the Telangana Chief Minister in expressing deep sympathies and condolences at the loss of lives of CRPF jawans, were members of all parties, which collectively welcomed the decision.
The leader of the Opposition Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said his party fully supported the views of the government on the Pulwama attack. The efforts of the terrorists were to divide the country, he added.
Ahmed Bin Balala of the AIMIM accused Pakistan and Jaish-e-Mohammad and its leader Masood Azhar of trying to divide the country through terror attacks. BJP’s Raja Sigh who also spoke briefly supported the resolution and roundly condemned the Pulwama attack.
The House then observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect to the CRPF jawans who lost their lives.
In the Legislative Council, Medical and Health Minister Eatala Rajender led the House in paying respects to the CRPF jawans with the House passing a unanimous resolution condemning the attack and expressing deep sympathies and condolences to the families of the jawans who lost their lives in the attack.
