The camp is 6 miles from #Iraq’i borders on the eastern banks of Euph. and is besieged by the #SDF from all directions. The entire remaining population are Daesh terrorists and their families, including a large number of children, majority of whom are foreigners (mainly Iraqi).

Since two days thousands managed to flee the camp and get to the points near SDF positions in Baghouz, where SDF sent dozens of trucks to take them to safety. More than 2000 people (including so few militants) were evacuated with 80 trucks.

All the most diehard militants who refused to surrender in Manbij, Tabqa (al-Thawra), Raqqa etc. are now confined in that tiny area where most of them again refuse to surrender. There’s lack of footage, water and medicine.

Daesh dug tunnels and trenches from the camp to buildings inside Baghouz to escape and hide. They’re injured, ill, exhausted so can’t force civilians to stay. Daesh almost losy control on civilians.

People fled talk about widespread occurence of epidemic diseases including leishmaniasis. The special units SDF formed have worked since a week to separate families from hardliners and evacuate them. More than 2000 were saved in the fist successful attempt today.

Operations to rescue civilians are likely to continue in coming days since thousands remain trapped and SDF can’t launch the last offensive with them remaining in the camp.

There were supposed to at most just 2000 before, so how come there are "thousands" when thousands are still being evacuated.
