After the withdrawal of the Soviet Army in 1989, the Taliban rose among the post-war factions, took Kabul and in 1996 they captured and killed the president Mohammad Najibullah. Find the pictures of how they exposed his mutilated body to send a message to all the country
. IMO the point is rather that there are plenty of other terrorist bases: Somalia, Algeria, Mali, Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt.
So what's the correct move?
Perpetual war with no guarantee of success. While ISIS runs around in Syria, Libya and west Africa.
