    That's not at all what he said. Plus, I'm not sure anyone ever claimed there were casualties *in the hospital* in question. As has been well established, the chlorine attack was especially deadly because the gas sank down through a heavily populated apt building, in the dark.

    Actions do indeed have consequences, but nation states also have responsibilities to their citizens - good or bad. What will the do with Shamima? And the many others sat in ? We've sat on this issue for too long - that too has consequences.

    Well said : actions have consequences. The FCO advises against all travel to Syria for a reason...

    Almost a year later, people are still squabbling over the intricacies of the 7 April 2018 Douma chemical attacks. Madness. We know of hundreds of similar incidents over more than five years. The interesting thing to do is look for consistencies among them and tease out patterns.

    There are also many minor cases in that may never see the eyes of justice. I know of one -n who spent 2011-12 informing on fellow students, some of whom then "disappeared." He then "fled" to & is now on social media & TV, spreading misinformation.

    If I read this right, thinks the US "watched" take (May '15) "hoping" victories would get to negotiate. - Seriously? At the exact same time, the US was leading 70+ countries in fighting *in ,* more determinedly than .

    We have reams of evidence and leaks that reveal just how widespread knowledge of our "indirect" assistance to al-Qaida and other jihadists was. We watched passively as ISIS took Palmyra, hoping IS's advance would scare Assad into negotiating or fleeing.

    Joining is just a little different to surrendering, . A vast majority of Division 30 (a) fought back against and lost or (b) simply surrendered. They did not join. would never even had accepted them in their ranks if they'd wanted to.

    . how many of the fighters that DOD trained & equipped in Turkey 🇹🇷 joined al-Qaida on crossing border into Syria 🇸🇾? My understanding was that it was a high percentage, including the commander. Of course, US didn’t intend them to be al-Qaida. Neither in Afghanistan 🇦🇫
